An Overall View#
For Y3S1, I once again did the usual 4 modules per semester. Specifically, I did:
- CS302 (DevOps)
- IS453 (Financial Analytics)
- Ethics&SocialResponsibility
- CS440 (Introduction to Cybersecurity)
This post is just a quick way to summarise the semester, and also provide a quick way to link to my University Projects.

Fortunately (or Unfortunately, depending on the workload), nearly every SMU module at least to my understanding, has a practical project of some kind. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a full-blown research project, but there will inevitably be some kind of practical assessment in some form or another. For this semester:

| CS440 | Short Introduction into a chosen area of research about Cybersecurity (SideChannel Attacks) |
| IS453 | Creation of a Financial Scorecard based on given data, for a specific unique customer segement (Micro-Financial Technology Loans) |
| Ethics&SocialResponsibility | Presentation on ethical issues and concerns about a chosen topic (Ethics of Nuclear Energy) |
